
Our Judicial Practice course, “Practicum”, is oriented towards European University students, who are in their last year in the university. It is intended to train future penal lawyers from different countries.
The offices of “Granda & Asociados” has signed agreements of collaboration with the ERASMUS PROGRAM from different European Universities, such as the LUMSA University in Rome and the University of Salerno.

Students from Spanish Universities, such us the University Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid and the University of Salamanca have already done this with very satisfactory results since 2.000.
During this course, the knowledge necessary to able to confront their first judicial proceeding with confidence will be acquired, because they will have been given the necessary training.
The course consists of a theoretical part with mandatory workshops in which they prepare writings, appeals, interrogation techniques, oratory, non-verbal language, and practices with judicial attendance in Courts of First Instance, Penal Courts, and Provincial Hearings in Madrid. Preparation of real cases. Exhibitions and mock proceedings for some students.
Production of an explanatory report by the student in spanish and in his/her mother tongue carried out during this judicial internship course for his/her University.
Reduced groups. Groups of 15 students maximum. Minimum 10 students. Length of course 140 hours (three months), 300 hours (six months), 440 hours (nine months). Financing by the corresponding University or by the student.
Selection process. The owner of the office reserves the right of admission to students, who after a previous selection provide a copy of their student record and a cover letter.
Upon finalizing the course, the student knows whether he/she likes the material and can ultimately decide if he/she wants to professionally dedicate him/herself to penal law. We will award them with a proof of having completed this “Practicum”.
